More Than Words! is a video-based self-help reading program that
presents six basic skills to assist with reading comprehension.
Components include 4 VHS Tapes, with over 2 1/2 hours of instruction. Three
Activity Books and over 200 “Skill Blaster” cards also accompany the
set.
Activity books offer a variety of short stories
with related activities for reinforcement of each skill, and the “Skill
Blaster” cards offer additional practice. These short selections are
great for learners who don’t want to do “workbook-type” practice. The
selections from nature, science, history, geography and literature are
quick, fun to use, and promote interaction between learners and their
helpers.
